CRISTINA SPIRIDAKIS – COSTUME DESIGNER
Cristina Spiridakis is an Emmy Nominated Costume Designer who received her BFA in Apparel Design from the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design in 2002.
Following her work on FX’s pilot ‘The Bear,’ Cristina was the Costume Designer for Peacock’s groundbreaking reimagining of ‘Queer as Folk’ and Hulu Onyx’s ‘How to Die Alone.’
Most recently, Cristina recently wrapped production on the Netflix Series ‘The Boroughs’ - the Duffer Brothers’ follow up series to ‘Stranger Things.’ She is currently gearing up to start pre-production on A24’s ‘Crystal Lake’ - a prequel television series to the iconic ‘Friday the 13th’ franchise. Set in the summers of 1970 and ‘71, Cristina is thrilled to be designing her first period TV show.
She also is the Designer behind Season 2 of HBO's critically acclaimed series “Betty” as well as the series "Dash and Lily" for Netflix for which she received a Daytime Emmy Nomination for ‘Outstanding Costume Design/Styling for a Drama or Daytime Fiction Program.’
With a career ranging from TV series, to small independent features, to major motion pictures, Cristina has experienced Costume Design at every budget level and enjoys the creative challenges and problem solving skills that each project presents, but most of all enjoys building characters and using clothing as a means of visual storytelling.
